I hope Lunch hangs on for a few more weeks and secures a spot on the Year-End Hot 100. It's one of my favorite songs from this year and one of my favorites from Hit Me Hard and Soft. I know charts don't matter, but still. Also, why is Wildflower hanging around? Not complaining, I love that song. I'm just surprised this deep cut is hanging on this far out from the album bomb.

My Opinion Of This Weeks New Arrivals: WOTW: The 3 New Drake songs- No Mas Drake, dude should have stayed in the woods DM: Big Mama- Latto needs to stop working with Drake HM1: Residuals- It's OK HM2: She's Somebody's Daughter- It's fine but can Nashville release Country songs that came out this year not 5 years ago. HM3: Double Life- So AniMat was right about this song, It's not the best Despicable Me song but it's connection to the Drake beef his hilarious BOTW: Why Why Why- It's actually good makes me interested on this new Shawn Mendes album, it must be better than the Camilla Cabello album. This week was bad Very much exciting for the Post Malone album bomb, his collab with Chris Stapleton is definitely gonna chart high.

1) "A Bar Song (Tipsy)" officially tied "I Had Some Help" for the most weeks at #1 this year. Unfortunately, that won't last long. Post Malone is about to have an album bomb and "I Had Some Help" is likely to reclaim its #1 spot! ☹️ 2) "Type Shit" and "I Like the Way You Kiss Me" both lasted 20 weeks. Considering that the former song was completely overshadowed by "Like That", it's impressive how it lasted that long! 🤓 3) I wonder how long those boring Drake songs will last on the Hot 100. Best (tie): Double Life (I have loved Happy since 2013 [and still do], and it's easily the best thing to come out of Despicable Me. This song, serving as a double entendre for Gru's story and Drake's 2024 shitshow, come close though. I'll give it that. Fantastic!) Song Recommendations: Crank That (Taylors Version) by Taylor Roche: An stirring and emotional cover of Crank That by Soulja Boy. No, I'm not kidding, this is an actual thing. Paul Rodriguez by Logic: I recently listened to Logic’s new album, Ultra 85, and it’s an absolute masterpiece with some absolutely INCREDIBLE songs. And easily the best is the album’s opener, Paul Rodriguez. The production slaps, Logic is absolutely fantastic, and the lyrics are so iconic. A great song from an amazing album GO LISTEN TO ULTRA 85 IT’S SO GOOOOOOD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Tear The Roof Off by Bliss n Eso and WATSKY: Another cool rap song, with infectious production, great vocals from Bliss, Eso, and WATSKY, and fantastic lyrics. So good! Hopeless Love by T.O, Cedrice Ce, and Daniel Bourget: A cool track, with unique production, slick vocals, and good lyrics. Not bad. Cadillac Bandit by Sam Lachow and Gravy Bae: A chill vibe, with slick production, great vocals from Lachow and Bae, and fun lyrics. Nice little tune!
